How to Apply for MSME Registration on the Udyam Portal

  • Visit the Portal: Go to the official Udyam Registration Portal and click on “For New Entrepreneurs who are not Registered yet as MSME or those with EM-II.”

  • Aadhaar Verification: Enter your Aadhaar number and entrepreneur name, then click “Validate and Generate OTP.” After receiving the OTP, proceed to the PAN verification step.

  • PAN Verification: Enter the Type of Organisation and PAN Number, then click “Validate PAN” to confirm your PAN details from government records.

  • Complete the Registration Form: Fill in personal details and enterprise information accurately.

  • Enter Investment & Turnover Details: Provide investment in plant and machinery/equipment and turnover details. Read and accept the declaration. Click “Submit and Get Final OTP.”

 

  • Final OTP & Certificate: Enter the final OTP to submit your application. The Udyam Registration Certificate will be sent via email. You can also check your MSME registration status directly on the portal.

Udyam Registration for Entrepreneurs with Existing UAM

  1. Visit the Portal: On the Udyam Registration Portal homepage, click either:

    • “For those having registration as UAM” or

    • “For those already having registration as UAM through Assisted filing.”

  2. Enter UAM Details: Provide your Udyog Aadhaar Number (UAM) and select an OTP delivery option (mobile or email).

  3. OTP Verification: Click Validate and Generate OTP,” then enter the OTP you receive to verify your details.

  4. Complete Registration: Fill in the MSME registration form with the required enterprise details and submit. Your Udyam Registration will be completed.
